ViZn Energy Systems Taps Renewable Energy Veteran as VP of Marketing Following Accelerated Global Product Demand

AUSTIN, Texas – February 1, 2016 – ViZn Energy Systems Inc. (ViZn), a leading provider of energy storage systems for C&I, microgrid and utility applications, announced today it has hired Mike Grunow to serve as Vice President of Marketing. Grunow joins ViZn as the company expands to meet rapid global adoption of its energy storage solutions.

Grunow is a seasoned commercial executive whose career encompasses over 15 years of commercial sales and marketing experience in global wind and solar energy markets. Most recently, Grunow served as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Moventas where he worked with the world’s largest utilities to enhance the profitability of their existing wind energy fleets. Prior to that, Grunow served as the Vice President of Marketing for the world’s largest solar panel manufacturer, Trina Solar. Early in his career, Grunow was a Product Line Manager for General Electric’s renewable energy power generation division.
