Entry-Level Technician

ViZn Energy Systems, Inc. is a Montana Corporation headquartered in Columbia Falls, Montana. We are moving from developing the next-generation grid storage technology, based upon a large-scale energy redox storage battery, to initial products for customer qualification and production. The aim is to provide cost effective storage for renewable generation technologies and provide greater efficiency for the nation’s energy grid.

Job Description
ViZN Energy Systems has a need for technical staff to provide general services for our line of large-scale energy storage flow batteries. This position will be located at Columbia Falls, MT. Preference will be given to candidates who are demonstrated successful multi-taskers. The successful candidate will report to the Build Supervisor.
Duties
The successful candidate will
• Assist with the construction of large scale energy storage cells and full stacks
• Assist with special builds and operation of test equipment
• Conduct periodic experiments on energy storage module components
• Assist with the general maintenance
• Comply with all safety standards and general lab protocols
Requirements
The following qualifications are required for this position:
• Ability to lift up to 60lb
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions with a minimum of supervision
• Use of multiple power and hand tools
• Willing to live and work in Montana
• Proof of ability to work in the US

The following experience is preferred:
• 2+ years’ experience in an industrial, technical, or manufacturing environment
• Electrical or mechanical assembly

Mid-Level Technician

Job Description
ViZn Energy Systems, located in Columbia Falls MT, has a need for technical staff to provide general services for ViZn Energy Systems line of large-scale energy storage flow batteries. This position will be located at Columbia Falls, MT. Preference will be given to candidates who are demonstrated successful multi-taskers. The successful candidate will report to the Lab or Production Manager.
Duties
The successful candidate will
• Assist with the construction of small scale energy storage cells
• Assist with the construction of large scale energy storage cells
• Assist with special builds and operation of test equipment
• Conduct periodic experiments on energy storage module components
• Comply with all safety standards and general lab protocols

Requirements
The following qualifications are required for this position:
• Ability to lift up to 60lb
• Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions with a minimum of supervision
• Read and interpret CAD generated drawings and BOM’s
• Willing to live and work in Montana
• Proof of ability to work in the US

The following experience is preferred:
• An associates or BSc degree
• 2+ years’ experience in an industrial, technical, or manufacturing environment
• MRP/ERP Software Experience
• Electrical or mechanical assembly
