David Rutchik serves as Executive Managing Director with global technology, process optimization, and cost and operations efficiency consultancy Pace Harmon, Inc. He maintains 25 years of executive management, corporate development, program management, M&A, strategic outsourcing/sourcing and global contracts negotiations experience. He specializes in complex, commercial transactions and the “business of IT,” and has led numerous IT and business process outsourcing (ITO and BPO) analyses and multi-tower engagements, IT diligence, process optimization, and organizational design and effectiveness engagements for Fortune 500, private equity, and select middle market clients.
Mr. Rutchik has led some of the largest, most complex IT and business process mandates in the marketplace across the transaction lifecycle – from early stage diligence, through sourcing transactions, process optimization and organizational design/effectiveness, to transition support and supplier governance. He has supported clients in multiple industries including: energy/utilities, high tech, financial services, retail, healthcare, CPG, manufacturing, logistics, and agribusiness, and has represented buyers in numerous deals cumulatively worth several billion dollars. He is a recognized expert in his field, having served clients such as Southern California Edison, PSEG, AES, PepsiCo, The Carlyle Group, HP, Rockwell Automation, Best Buy, Nike, Agrium, and Cardinal Health.
Earlier in his career, he served the president of an international IT outsourcing provider, in addition to practicing as an attorney in the technology transactions and IT outsourcing practice of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. He is a frequent contributor to a variety of IT and business publications, as well as a speaker at various CFO and CIO forums. David is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a JD from the Vanderbilt University School of Law.
